Windows 7 Echo problem

Hey guys,
All my sounds are echoing. This has been happening for a couple months now. I've tried messing with the sound settings but I haven't found anything that fixes it so far. I've tried googling for solutions, but the few of them that I found have not worked for me.

Does this happen with several different audio devices? Have you tried using other speakers etc?

That's fucking weird, never heard of that. Try updating your sound card.

Nevermind I figured it out. I had to download "realtek" so that I could get the sound to work for Silent Hill 2. I uninstalled realtek and now there's no echo

lol sounds like you had an environment theme or the like going

You should also go into your program files and delete all the files that were part of that program.
