Despite how I denied it would reach fruition way back when, it's been announced. Not sure if we should chalk this up to a greatly elating thing, but... I suppose it's certainly more than something for all DOOM fans out there...

"The hype" probably won't be as great for this one, though DOOM 3 wasn't a terrible game in my eyes (but there may be a point where the developers have been developing their game for so long that they aren't objective about any issue their game may have, if they're close enough to their project). That aside, thoughts?

Though, I do have problems seeing where the story will go, as the ending of the third and RoE concluded it pretty well.

I don't care in the least about this title and I'm really disappointed that they are making it. What are they going to do? Remake the remake?

Hmm a Doom 4... sounds cool but that's what I thought about Doom 3 when it was announced. NO MORE MONSTER CLOSETS RAWRR!

I'm probably more excited about the new engine they are gonna run than the game itself ;p

ok, my opinion about this doom 4 game, is that, i hope it comes out soon. BUT.... its been awhile since doom 3 came out. so i think doom 4 should start by the main character having a real moment looking back before doom 3 UAC got attacked then jumps to the end of doom 3 to recap in his dreams, the going to the main portal of doom 3 where it took him to hell. but in his dream, he goes to floating islands in hell and shows the demons spawns, but non effective, eventually going to the maledict which shoots a big fire ball after he spawns to that floating platform, and when he gets shot, he immediately wakes up on earth in his home, then goes to the UAC Headquaters on earth. Demons are coming back. to destroy the earth. This game should be called Doom 4: Earths Hell! well i think thats a good beginning, but hopefully the creators making doom 4 which im sure ID is, i hope they make it BETTER!
