How much money do you think this could sell for?

I need to buy a 13-inch macbook pro for school, so I'm going to sell my current laptop.
How much do you guys think I could sell this for?
I've looked on ebay to get an idea, but it's hard to search for exact specifications. I searched "HP G62" and the price range was 300 to 400 dollars.
My current laptop:

Operating System: Windows 7
Processor: AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core Processor 2.10 GHz
Memory RAM: 4.00 GB
Storage: 300.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System

I'd say the marked price was just about spot-on. If you found someone who was a little clueless, you might be able to sell it for 500 or 600.

But that much money would *not* get you a MacBook Pro and you certainly don't *need* a MacBook pro for any reason, let alone for specific school purposes.

Even if you were into video editing or the like, which most people (baselessly) think Apple is superior at, there's not a need to switch over. Pretty much all of Apple's software products either work on Windows or have a functional third-party equivalent.

I'd save your money and keep what you have. It sounds like a decent computer.

That's especially retarded seeing as how there is literally no reason you'd have to use a Mac for graphic design. Especially since the majority of schools have lab computers available. So even if they required some specific program, you wouldn't have to own one yourself.

Probably. I get like a $100 discount on 13inch MacBook pros and I think a $200 on the bigger ones because I'm a student there. I also need my own licensed copy of photoshop, which I also get a discount on

I imagine they just want to teach you photoshop and refuse to use the Windows version of it, which doesn't really make any sense.

If you can, don't buy photoshop. Arrrrrrrr (if you know what I mean). Otherwise use gimp, it's free. Although I don't know if it's for Mac.

They may or may not force you to use a Mac version of photoshop, but don't let that cripple you. You should know how to use it across operating systems and even across different programs.
