who feels like some free industrial music

it's pretty solid if you're into this sort of thing!

http://www.ad-ver-sary.com/download/

"All my music is free to download. There are a lot of different reasons why I make it available, but the only reason that matters is that I think music should be free. I don’t agree at all with the artist-centric view of intellectual property that seems to be nearly universal among musicians; I think the idea that you’re not allowed to listen to something I released unless you get my permission first is pretty fucking absurd.

This isn’t a low bitrate try-before-you-buy thing; these are properly tagged LAME -V2 MP3s, complete with album art and totally guilt-free. I don’t want you to buy my CD because it’s the only way you can hear the album properly or because you feel bad for downloading it, I want you to buy it if it’s something you think is worth buying."

Classy attitude. It's nice to see more artists with this mindset cropping up.

I like it, I usually listen to this stuff when I draw something moody.

And Gramatik, Gramatik is just fun.

I listened to the 'A Bright Cut Across Velvet Sky' album and that album is
like a boring ambient shell with around some fun beats and squeeing digital
noise.

Songs like 'Darker' 'Creatura (and the sea),' and 'Just (Passed Away Remix by
Salt)' are the main offenders of the ambient sounds. I would be fine if the album
was all about ambient sounds. But the thing is that after the first minute of the
first song 'Ancients (Cyanotic Remix)' the albums explodes into this sort frantic
beat / squee digital sounds, and I expected more that and get it in songs like
'Friends of the Father' and 'Waiting For Gira (Phylr Remix).'

But! Maybe I'm not to big into the build up structure in industrial music as much
as I hoped to be. Or! Maybe I'm impatient.

the ambient stuff doubles as backing and reprieve from the foreground noise. i like the variation.

for what it's worth though i think bone music is the superior album.
